Movie Story
Alejandro (Luis Deveze), a native of León but long-time resident of Los Angeles, where he worked as a Chicano Studies professor until recently, finds himself stranded in Tijuana on New Year’s Eve while attempting to return to his family in Mexico.
As he walks around the Zona Centro he has a surprise encounter with Ana (Kristine Veta), a former student, who invites him to celebrate the new year with her Mexican boyfriend Luis (Alejandro Edda) and his friends. As the celebration progresses it unleashes a roller coaster of emotions in Alejandro that bring to the surface his inner conflicts of romance, belief and identity.
